"From a young age Siedra has been creating with her hands. As the daughter of an art teacher, she learned how to observe an object and notice the nuance of details. Spending time gardening and venturing through the woods, Siedra gathered specimens for keepsakes that would cultivate a future idea. A dedicated collector of all things intricate and small, it was a natural passage to begin creating metal keepsakes of her own.
Following that passion Siedra graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in metal from Earlham College. Fragmented lines, gestural curves, and subtle movement are a few concepts that propel her curiosity further. With a specific love of everlasting, meaningful objects, each piece is made with that sentiment in mind."
